What is a Legal Register?
The Core Country Legal Register gives multinational companies the inventory of environmental, health & safety requirements applicable to an office, retail store or service sector operation in a particular country.
Each requirement is available in dual language (English and the national language) and includes a descriptive summary of each requirement. Legal register summaries are written in plain language to be read and understood by a non-EHS professional who may oversee EHS compliance at a site―such as an office or retail store manager.

Fulfills ISO 45001 obligation to determine legal and other requirements
Supports compliance in opening of new operations
Help ensure compliance in store or office build-out
Informs the site’s EHS committee of its responsibilities
Presents a site’s EHS permit conditions or internal policies in one place
Demonstrates existence of a compliance assurance program
Reduces company risk
